This Saturday, November 9th, the North Bend Theatre will host the first of two rounds of the acclaimed 2024 Seattle International Comedy Competition (SICC), which will feature talented comedians from the US and Canada.
Beth Burrows, the owner of the North Bend Theatre, is excited to bring this event back to the Snoqualmie Valley for the fifth year. “These comedy competitions are incredibly fun. The comedians win by making you laugh, and they are relentless in their pursuit of victory.”
The lineup includes a comic who left a “lucrative career as a professional pinball player” for stand-up, the owner of a Great Dane that won’t stop growling at his wife, and a celebrity impressionist who brings “Jim Carrey energy” to the stage.
The Seattle International Comedy Competition is the largest touring comedy festival in the United States. Throughout November, thirty-two comedians will perform across the Puget Sound area, competing for $15,000 in cash prizes. The grand finale will be on December 1 at Laugh’s Comedy Club in Seattle, where the best five comedians will vie for the top spot.
Saturday’s event kicks off at 8 pm. Tickets are selling fast! Check availability online https://northbendtheatre.com
While you’re there, be sure to snag your tickets for Round 2 with all new comedians on Saturday, November 16.
