Search and Rescue Crews respond to Rattlesnake Trail for Injured Woman

King County Search and Rescue crews were called to Rattlesnake Trail in North Bend  Monday afternoon, April 4, 2016, after a woman fell on the trail and broke her leg.

KCSAR Public Information Volunteer Alan LaBissoniere said the 40-year old female fell around 12PM, about two miles up the trail and was in a lot of pain.

Eastside Fire & Rescure aid crews will be hiking in to assist Seattle Mountain Rescue and King County Explorer SAR team members. Crews plan to stabilize and carry the woman down the trail to a waiting ambulance. No helicopter was used in the mission.

The woman was brought down off of the trail and transported to an area hospital around 3:15PM.
