Something’s riding into town on Wednesday night, and North Bend Theatre isn’t saying what it is. The historic single-screen theatre is launching Spaghetti Western Wednesday, a mid-week escape with a hearty bowl of spaghetti and a mystery Western on the big screen. The title stays sealed until the projector starts.
The only promises are that the film is Western and the pasta is delicious. Everything else is a secret.
A little history with your pasta
Why “Spaghetti Western”? In the 1960s, Italian filmmakers reinvented the American Western, shooting in the deserts of Spain with sweat-soaked close-ups, flat-brimmed hats, and some of the best music ever put to film. Critics harshly dismissed them, calling them “spaghetti Westerns”, but audiences loved them. Sixty years later, North Bend Theatre is taking the nickname literally.
Dinner and a duel, under one roof
Wednesday, the spaghetti comes straight from Paisan Ristorante, named 425 Magazine’s Best Italian Restaurant on the Eastside in 2024, 2025, and 2026. Guests will enjoy their pre-ordered spaghetti marinara dinner (gluten-free penne also available), find their seats, and swap guesses with their neighbors about what’s coming. The old theatre becomes the Valley’s most unusual dining room.

When: Wednesday. Doors open at 6:30 PM for dinner, and the film starts at 7 PM
