This Saturday, November 16, the North Bend Theatre will host the second round of the acclaimed 2024 Seattle International Comedy Competition (SICC), featuring new talent from the US and Canada.
Beth Burrows, the owner of the North Bend Theatre, is excited to bring sixteen new comics to the Snoqualmie Valley for the second round of the competition. “If laughter is the best medicine, then consider Round 2 your double dose! And you’ll need it. These comedians win by making you laugh and they won’t rest until you’re in stitches.”
Saturday’s lineup includes a comic whose dark sense of humor “rips laughs from the lungs of his gasping audience,” a video game designer, and a former TV quiz kid who became a rodeo doctor.
The Seattle International Comedy Competition is the largest touring comedy festival in the United States. Throughout November, thirty-two comedians have been performing across the Puget Sound area, competing for $15,000 in cash prizes. The grand finale will take place on December 1 at Laugh’s Comedy Club in Seattle, where the best five comedians will vie for the top spot.
Saturday’s event kicks off at 8 pm. Tickets are selling fast! Check availability online at Northbendtheatre.com
