Reminder! Snoqualmie Valley Schools Back in Session Tomorrow, January 2nd

Screen Shot 2013-01-01 at 1.57.57 PMWell, it seems like Winter Break just started for about 6,000 Snoqualmie Valley School District students, but the countdown to the end of break is now down to just hours.  Can you hear the moans and groans of local students?

So… here’s a courtesy reminder that school is back in session tomorrow, Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013.  With this year’s Winter Break beginning and ending mid-week AND being slightly shorter than in years past, we wanted to make sure everyone remembers.

That means starting before 7AM tomorrow, expect to see buses  back on Valley roads and traffic congestion back near SVSD schools – and many students out walking.  The morning weather is expected to be below freezing thanks to long nights and clear overnight skies.  Take it easy and watch for icy roads.

Slow down in school zones, too. Local police have been strictly enforcing school zone speed limits.

Happy 2013 Snoqualmie Valley families.
