North Bend City Hall (920 SE Cedar Falls Way)

Help shape North Bend’s Future!

The City of North Bend is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan under RCW 36.70A.130 as necessary for conformance to the Growth Management Act. As part of the update to the Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan, the Planning Commission will host a public workshop on the City’s land use designations and zoning.

The meeting will include an overview of how land use designations and zoning govern allowable land uses and development, potential amendments to be considered to enable the City to meet state-required housing targets at different affordability levels, and discussion on dockets (requested amendments) that were received during the 2022-2023 docket cycle related to land use designations and zoning.

This workshop is also an opportunity for the public to suggest additional amendments to the City’s land use designations and zoning. Please come to learn how zoning works and offer your thoughts and suggestions. The meeting will be an informal and open opportunity to provide input and participate in discussions with the Planning Commission.
