PSE Says Snoqualmie Valley Power Outage Could Last 2 – 3 More Days

**  3:50PM:  SVSD schools are closed Friday, January 20th. **

PSE now forecasts that Snoqualmie and North Bend could be without power for 2 – 3 more days.  5,143 Snoqualmie, 4,019 North Bend and 601 Fall City homes without power. There are roughly 270,000 Western Washington Puget Sound Energy customers are without power.  City officials urge citizens to prepare homes for the coming days.

Snoqualmie Parkway is still closed in both directions at Fisher Creek due to a downed power line.  It’s unknown how long the closure will last.  Highway 202 is still closed in both directions at the Salish Lodge due to downed trees and a landslide.

Snoqualmie opened its Emergency Operations Center as of 2PM, January 19th.  You can reach the EOC at 425-888-5911.  Use 911 for true emergencies.

Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 River Street, is open as an emergency warming shelter.  For questions about the warming shelter call 425-888-1555.

You can check the Snoqualmie/North Bend radio station at AM 1650 for frequent updates.  Emergency alerts will be posted on the City of Snoqualmie Facebook page and their website.
