Police respond to North Bend Apartment Complex for Fight, mention of Rifle brings in SWAT

Numerous North Bend residents reported a heavy police presence, along with SWAT team members, near the North Bend Post Office around 7AM Tuesday, August 9, 2016.

Via press release,  the Snoqualmie Police Department said at 3:15AM, officers responded to the Mount Si Court Apartment complex in the 400 block of E North Bend Way, where several tenants were physically fighting in the parking lot.

During the altercation, there was mention of an assault rifle.  No shots were fired or reported during the incident, but due to the threat of a weapon being used, the Snoqualmie Police Department summoned the King County Tactical Unit.

Snoqualmie officers obtained a warrant for the apartment, which was served successfully with no injury. A toy assault rifle was located in the apartment.

Around 9AM, officers arrested a  22-year old male at the apartment complex on felony charges. He was booked into King County Jail.

  • Felony charges!?! Disorderly Conduct? Public Drunk and Disorderly? Tresspassing? For possession of a toy assult rifle? Interesting no reason for the charges was given.
