Police Blotter | Vehicle Theft Report; DUI; Malicious Mischief

November 13, 2023

Officers received notification of a possible vehicle theft in downtown North Bend. Officers arrived and contacted the reporting party, who said his truck was missing. Officers spoke with the property manager to gain access to security camera footage. The property manager later contacted the officers and informed them that a red GMC SUV with three suspects had pulled into the property.

One suspect got out, entered the stolen truck’s passenger door, and left with the rest of the suspects. Based on the suspect vehicle description, officers believe this incident is connected with multiple attempted vehicle thefts that occurred earlier in the morning. Officers are still working to identify the suspects.

November 14, 2023

Officers were dispatched to the North Bend Outlet Mall regarding an unwanted male subject who was acting suspiciously. Officers were able to locate the subject nearby, who was smoking from a plastic pipe with tin foil. Officers contacted the subject and were able to get his identity. A check showed that the subject had a warrant out of Issaquah for theft.

Officers arrested the subject and conducted a search, which yielded a plastic pipe and a substance that the subject stated was fentanyl. The subject was booked into Issaquah City Jail for the warrant and Drug Use in Public. He was also trespassed indefinitely from the location.

November 14, 2023

An officer was on routine patrol in Snoqualmie when they noticed a female subject staggering as she exited her vehicle. The subject quickly got back in and drove by the officer in a vehicle with no license plates. The officer stopped the vehicle and administered field sobriety tests. The subject was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI.  

November 15, 2023

Officers were dispatched to an alarm at Nike at the North Bend Outlet Mall. Officers arrived, secured the building, and discovered a window had been broken. Officers reviewed security camera footage, which showed three suspects making multiple trips inside the store and stealing $6053.97 worth of merchandise. Officers are still working to identify the suspects.

November 15, 2023

Dispatch alerted officers to a suspect at the Snoqualmie Casino who was linked to the theft of a firearm and other items at Snoqualmie Point Park the previous week. Officers worked with Casino security, who located the suspect and one additional male suspect in the Casino. Security camera footage showed that the two suspects arrived at the location in a stolen vehicle. A third suspect who was driving the vehicle was not located.

Officers were able to detain one of the suspects as he exited the Casino and found a handgun on him that was not listed as stolen. Officers searched the area outside the Casino and were able to locate and detain the second suspect, who was found with the stolen handgun and a bag containing over $6000. Both suspects were undocumented and charged with Alien Possession of Firearms. One suspect was additionally charged with Possessing a Stolen Firearm. Officers are still working to identify the third suspect, who was not located.  

November 16, 2023

An officer was dispatched to a vehicle theft report in Snoqualmie. Upon contact with the reporting party, the officer learned that the vehicle was not currently stolen but was previously stolen at gunpoint and later recovered. The officer also learned that earlier in the day, a female suspect arrived at the citizen’s door demanding that he return $50,000 and guns that were supposedly in the recovered car. The citizen stated that he didn’t find any such thing and that the female suspect threatened him. The suspect may have been involved in the original vehicle theft. Officers are still working to identify the female suspect.  

November 17, 2023

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person report in Snoqualmie. It was reported that a male subject was observed looking into various residences, putting on work gloves, and appearing to be casing vehicles. Officers arrived on the scene and searched the area but could not locate the subject. Officers are still working to identify the subject.

November 17, 2023

Dispatch notified officers of a weapons offense around Bendigo Blvd N and West 2nd St of North Bend. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with the reporting party, who informed officers that a vehicle passed him, brake-checked him, and began throwing golf balls out the window at his vehicle. Soon after, the reporting party saw the vehicle parked and saw a male suspect walking up a nearby set of stairs. The suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at him. Officers did not locate the suspect then but located the vehicle later in the day. This case remains under investigation.

November 18, 2023

Officers were dispatched to the Sunglass Hut at the North Bend Outlet Mall for a shoplifting incident. An officer spoke with employees who stated that a female suspect entered the store and stole a pair of Versace sunglasses valued at $345. Officers quickly located the suspect and recovered the pair of sunglasses. The suspect was charged with theft and trespassed from the outlet mall.

November 19, 2023

Officers were notified of a female subject who was potentially having a mental health crisis. The family of the female subject was worried about her because she had texted them asking for help. Officers arrived on the scene and were able to locate the subject and de-escalate the situation. Officers secured the area for EMTs, who transported the subject to the hospital for a mental health evaluation and treatment.
