POSSIBLE DUI | HEALY AVE & PARK ST, North Bend
At 7:40AM a caller reported a possible drunk driver, said had observed the driver drinking at least five beers and throwing can on the trail at Rattlesnake Ridge and then followed him as he drove toward downtown North Bend. The caller said the driver was swerving, almost hit a guardrail, went up on a curb – and that the subject was passing out at the top of trail – admitted he’d been drinking since 3AM. An officer responded and took the man into custody on DUI and weapons charges.
AREA CHECK | MEADOW DR SE, North Bend
At 6:30PM a caller reported concern about three subjects shooting a bow and arrow in a backyard. The caller was walking on a footpath nearby and felt the shooting was dangerous. An officer responded to find an adult male playing with a children’s bow in the backyard.
THEFT IN-PROGRESS | NORMAN AVE SE, Snoqualmie
On May 29th around 8:45PM a caller reported that two subjects around 18-20 years old had stolen a toy from a neighbor’s yard and took off in a Honda Accord. An officer responded and made contact with the involved parties. The officer reported that “the criminal mastermind” returned to the scene of the stolen toy when he arrived, where she stated that she thought the toy was abandoned in the roundabout for weeks. She had gone to the park to play with the toy when the caller had confronted her. All toys were returned.
DRUG PROBLEM | SE NORTH BEND WAY
On May 30th at 2:15PM a caller reported seeing a man in a semi smoking “something out of a can” – possibly marijuana. The caller said the subject was then on the way to Truck Town on a skateboard. An officer responded and spoke to the man about physical control laws and noted that he did not observe signs of intoxication.
DUI/PHYSICAL CONTROL | NORTH BEND SAFEWAY
On June 2nd around 2:15PM fire and aid responded to the area for an intoxicated male and female in a car in the parking lot. The female stated they hadn’t been driving and no one witnessed the vehicle moving. Both the male and female had suspended licenses. The man was transported to Overlake Hospital and the officer advised the female not to drive.
THREATS | EZ MART, North Bend
On June 2nd at 10PM officers responded to a report of a threat that had occurred at QFC. When the officers arrived they spoke to the caller who advised officers that he actually wanted to report that the suspect had possibly purchased alcohol for a minor. The caller said the suspect had been yelling at him, but stated he was not in fear of him. The caller was advised to seek info about obtaining a court order. The suspect was located and placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant. The suspect alleged that the caller was actually the one yelling at him.
THEFT REPORT | NORTH BEND BARTELLS
On June 3rd around 2:50PM a caller reported her purse was stolen out of her vehicle while she was using the Red Box in front of the store. Her credit card was also stolen and used to buy $118 worth of items at the store. Suspect was described as a white female, average build with red/auburn colored hair.
