October 9, 2023

A caller reported seeing two unknown subjects attempting to enter a vehicle in North Bend. Officers responded to the area and did not locate any suspicious subjects. Luckily, it did not appear the subjects were able to successfully enter the vehicle.

October 9, 2023

A North Bend Outlet Mall store employee reported that three subjects entered the store and stole several pairs of sunglasses. They then fled in a vehicle onto I-90. The estimated amount of loss was around $1000.

October 11, 2023

A North Bend Outlet Mall store employee reported that a shoplifter entered the store, took approximately $700 worth of merchandise, and fled out the back door – damaging it on the way out. It cost about $300 to fix the door. No suspect information was known.

A driver merged into another driver at the intersection of Douglas Ave and Snoqualmie Parkway, causing the struck vehicle to spin out. When officers arrived on the scene, one of the vehicles was on the grassy median, and a tree was lying across the roadway. Officers cleared the tree from the roadway, and a tow company came and towed the involved vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

October 11, 2023

A very intoxicated citizen called and advised that he wanted to harm himself. He wanted to speak to a particular officer. That officer responded to the subject’s location and was able to speak with him and calm him down. He was transported to the hospital by the Fire Department.

October 12, 2023

A local citizen was contacted on social media to complete some home renovation projects at another residence. After starting work, the worker started receiving harassing text messages with vague threats. The homeowner was contacted and told to stop the harassing behavior and the worker was given information on how to obtain a restraining order.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Snoqualmie after observing it hit the left curb three times and swerve into oncoming lanes of travel. The officer observed the occupants throwing alcohol containers in the back seat as he approached the driver’s side of the vehicle. There was also an alcoholic beverage in the console cupholder. The female driver had slurred speech and claimed more than a dozen times that she was not under the influence. She declined to take a breathalyzer test. A search warrant was drafted and approved by a judge for the driver’s blood. She was taken to the hospital, and her blood was taken.  She was later booked into the Issaquah Jail on suspicion of DUI.

October 13, 2023

Dispatch received an open line 911 call where a male and female were heard verbally arguing. The line then disconnected. Officers arrived in the Snoqualmie area where the call originated and were contacted by the caller. She informed the officers that she and her partner were just involved in a road rage incident. The other driver was upset over being passed on the roadway. The suspect vehicle tailgated the caller and followed them to their residence. After getting out of the vehicle, the suspect driver pushed the other driver and then left. Officers went to the other residence and spoke with the suspect driver. He was arrested for Reckless Driving and for Assault 4.

October 13, 2023

Employees at the North Bend Outlet Mall called about a male and female who were acting suspiciously. The caller believed the couple was attempting to steal. Officers located the subjects, and both seemed very nervous. The male was sweating profusely. After checking their names, the male returned with warrants. There were drugs and several items of paraphernalia on his person. He was arrested on his warrant. On the way to jail, he claimed to have a medical emergency after taking fentanyl. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

October 14, 2023

At approximately 4 a.m. a citizen was returning home from work when he was robbed at gunpoint in the downtown Snoqualmie area. The suspect took the citizen’s vehicle, phone, and wallet. The victim was unable to call 911 and had a friend call five hours later to report the robbery. His vehicle was later recovered in Tukwila. The investigation is ongoing.

October 14, 2023

A North Bend resident noticed that his rear license plate had been stolen and had been swapped with another license plate. The swapped license plate was stolen previously from a nearby residence. No suspect info was known.
