Police Blotter | That’s A LOT of Stolen Alcohol; Let’s Talk Bears and Garbage; Dude, Where’d You Get that Bike Frame?

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT | E McCLELLAN ST, North Bend

On September 26th at 11:45AM a caller reported graffiti on the men’s restroom door at the North Bend Depot.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE 137TH PL, North Bend

On September 29th at 4:45AM, a caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway with one occupant who looked passed out or sleeping.  An officer responded to find a subject who had parked his car because he was tired. The man agreed to move on.


THEFT IN-PROGRESS | NIKE STORE, North Bend

On September 29th at 8PM an employee reported a subject had stolen a red hoodie and left in a silver Honda Civic that was last seen heading onto westbound I-90.  The caller reported the man was a known shoplifting suspect and was seen with two other male subjects in the vehicle.


NOISE COMPLAINT |  W 4th Street Area, North Bend

On October 2nd around 10:30PM a caller reported two white males yelling at the top of their lungs near the Snoqualmie Valley Trail at Ballarat.  An officer responded but was unable to located the boisterous men.


THEFT IN-PROGRESS |  NORTH BEND SAFEWAY

On October 3rd around 4:30PM an employee reported the theft of a cart full of alcohol (mostly) and groceries worth about $500. The caller attempted to stop the theft, but the subject became verbal and left in a gold Ford Explorer heading west on I-90. Officers responded and stopped the vehicle.  The man was booked into the Issaquah Jail.


MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT | OLMSTEAD PL SE, Snoqualmie

On October 6th around 7AM a caller reported that their vehicle broken in to when their window was smashed overnight.  A bag was taken. No suspect information was known.


CITIZEN ASSIST |  POINT AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On October 7th around 8:15AM a caller reported that a resident on their street continually leaves unsecured garbage out and animals keep getting into it, dragging trash onto the trail.  The caller stated the issue was ongoing and wildlife keep coming around – and children walk the trail – and asked for an officer to contact the neighbor about the matter.

An officer made contact with the house sitter who stated that she had picked up all the garbage she could see.  The officer advised her to notify the homeowners that a civil infraction could be a result if the garbage issue continues to occur.


DISTURBANCE |  SI VIEW APARTMENTS, North Bend

On October 8th at 6:20PM a caller reported a female arguing with another tenant.  An officer responded to discover there was a dispute between three people over “alleged behavior and threats.” All parties were advised of the disorderly conduct law by the responding officer.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  SYDNEY AVE N & W NORTH BEND WAY

On October 9th at 1:40AM an officer stopped a subject carrying a bike frame while riding his own mountain bike.  It was determined the subject had obtained the bike frame from the local bike shop, who said   “he had heard that once discarded by company you can pick them up.”

The officer made the subject take the frame back and told him he would be contacting the bike shop to verify his story – informing the subject that “once items are dropped at donation sites they become the property of the company and then it is theft should you take from these donation sites.”
