Officers assisted the City of North Bend Code Enforcement with serving paperwork requiring a property to be cleaned up by July 1, or the owner would start receiving fines.

A reporting party said he lost a case containing UFC and MMA-style baseball cards while driving on Snoqualmie Parkway. He described the case as black with the lettering “Slabtronics” on it. Inside the case were approximately 20 cards. These are graded trading cards. The cards were worth approximately $8,000.

Employees reported graffiti on the CenturyLink building’s west, south, and east sides. It did not appear to be distinct gang graffiti. No suspect information is known at this time.

Theft of a package from the front porch of a residence In North Bend around 3:30 am.  While en route to the call, officers located an Amazon box lying on the side of the roadway in the area. The box was empty, but the label on the box was the victim.  The reporting party was able to provide officers with ring camera footage of the suspect and vehicle, but the plate was unreadable.

There was a report of up to 50+ cars racing and revving engines as they pulled into the parking lot of the Snoqualmie Safeway. Officers contacted a multiple car club group that stated they were doing an organized night run. No criminal behavior was observed. All vehicles left the area when asked.

June 14, 2024

A reporting party stated that someone spray-painted the inside of the men’s bathroom at Torguson Park and the exterior of the concession stand. At this time, there are no suspects.

A single vehicle rolled over on the 1600 block of Bendigo Blvd. North. When officers arrived, the vehicle’s roof was submerged in about 6” water. They had to break the back window to check for victims inside. The driver returned to the scene shortly and said she swerved to miss an elk. The vehicle was towed.

June 15, 2024

Report of a Subaru driving recklessly on Elderberry Ave SE & SE McCullough St, blowing stop signs, and hanging out the window.  The reporting party contacted the driver of the vehicle that appeared to be occupied by juveniles. The driver got verbal and then accelerated, striking the victim and dragging him on the hood of the car for approximately 100 feet until he fell off the vehicle.

On arrival, the vehicle was gone, and the license plate given did not match the description. The victim was checked out by aid and voluntarily went to the hospital with his wife. 

June 15, 2024

Security reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the Nike store without license plates. When they arrived, officers found an Acura with a plate in the rear window. Three subjects came running out of the store with merchandise and went straight to the Acura. They ignored officers’ commands and got into the vehicle. One male fled on foot towards the freeway, and officers chased after him.

As the officers approached, the subject turned around and drew an expandable baton, fully extended as if he was going to swing it at them. At that time, the suspect’s vehicle drove up and slowed down, and the remaining suspect was able to jump into the car and get away. It was later determined that the vehicle had been stolen.

June 17, 2024

An unknown male subject was banging on the reporting party’s door on the 43300 block of North Bend Way, asking for someone who did not live there. The person appeared to be very intoxicated.  The subject got very agitated, got into his truck and sped off. Officers arrived and were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle in the area.  

After initiating a traffic stop, officers determined that the driver was intoxicated.  The subject could not be booked into jail due to medical conditions, so he was cited and released at Swedish Hospital.

June 17, 2024

A caller reported that someone was using his credit cards after he realized that his vehicle had been broken into and several personal items had been taken. After a very thorough investigation, video footage was obtained from the stores where the suspect made purchases. That officer later located a vehicle matching the same description in the area, initiated a traffic stop, and recognized the driver as the suspect in the video. The officer could see some of the stolen items in plain sight.  

The suspect had a felony warrant from DOC for escaping community custody and several other warrants from other agencies. A search warrant of the vehicle was completed, and several items of the victim were located. The suspect was booked into King County Jail on that warrant and other local charges.  

June 18, 2024

A North Bend Safeway employee stole $110 from the cash register, which was caught on video. The employee will be cited for Theft in the Third Degree.

June 18, 2024

Report of a physical domestic between an adult brother and sister at the Panorama Apartments.  During the altercation, the brother smacked the sister’s cell phone out of her hand and put her in a headlock. Officers contacted both parties and other witnesses.  

It was then determined that the brother initiated the physical contact. The subject was booked into jail for DV Assault 4th Degree. 

June 19, 2024

A deer ran in front of a vehicle in the middle of Snoqualmie Parkway. The driver was unable to avoid hitting the deer.  Officers responded, and it was determined that the deer was too injured to recover and had to be dispatched. 

June 20, 2024

Report of what appeared to be several obvious drug deals throughout the day when vehicles would park in the area and do an exchange on the shoulder of NE 8th St. The reporting person also noted heavy foot traffic, suspicious vehicles, and other suspected criminal behavior. 

June 21, 2024

Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle in Snoqualmie with a female subject standing outside of it.  The female told the officer that the driver was down at the river washing up and that the truck had broken down.  The female subject had a warrant out of Redmond for $5100 and was booked into SCORE jail. 

June 22, 2024

While on routine patrol, officers located a subject sleeping at the bus stop at the North Bend Outlet Mall. They contacted the subject, who had a warrant out of Auburn for Criminal Trespass in the First Degree. The subject was booked into SCORE jail on his warrant. 

June 22, 2024

A reporting party’s truck was parked in front of his residence when someone broke into it, taking several different items totaling approximately $180. There are no known suspects at this time. 

June 24, 2024

Report of a physical domestic between a mother and a juvenile son who was under the influence.  Officers contacted both parties. It was determined the juvenile should be cited. Charges will be forwarded to the King County Juvenile Prosecutor for DV Assault 4th and Minor in possession.

June 24, 2024

While doing a routine patrol, officers located a suspicious motorhome at Snoqualmie Point Park and ran the license plate that came back stolen out of Milton. Officers contacted the driver, who was armed with a knife and refused to follow commands. After actively resisting, officers had to physically remove him and take him into custody.  

The driver had outstanding warrants from other agencies, including possessing stolen property and trafficking stolen property in the 1st degree. The subject was booked into King County Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest and obstructing a law enforcement officer. 

June 25, 2024

Employees at the Columbia Store at the Outlet Mall were stocking shelves and noticed a lot of merchandise missing. After reviewing the camera footage, they were able to locate a theft involving three subjects who were seen taking over $6,500 in clothing and leaving the store. There is no further suspect information.

Two juveniles who were campers at Meadowbrook Farm’s day camp were separated from the camp. Officers located the juveniles, and they were reunited with the camp counselors.

Officers contacted a subject being treated in the emergency room after being assaulted by a known subject. The victim stated that the suspect threw some type of chemical in her face, potentially causing long-term damage to her eyes.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a naked male running around in the middle of the street. Officers located the subject, who was only wearing pants.  He was shaking erratically, covered in dirt, and stated he hadn’t eaten in eight days. Medical aid responded, along with the subject’s father. The subject was involuntarily committed to the hospital as he was unable to care for himself.
