Planning Commission Vacancy: City Seeks Applicants for Open Position No. 4

The City of North Bend is currently accepting applications to fill Position No. 4 on the Planning Commission, with a term ending May 18, 2026.

The Planning Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council, tasked with preparing and recommending coordinated plans, policies, regulations, and restrictions for the physical development of the city. Meetings are typically held at 6:30 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.

According to North Bend Municipal Code Chapter 2.28, “Four of the Commissioners shall reside inside the city limits while three may reside inside the 98045-zip code.” The current vacancy may be filled by a resident living within either the North Bend city limits or the 98045 zip code.
