In celebration of Earth Day, the North Bend Downtown Foundation (NBDF) and the City of North Bend invite residents to participate in North Bend Beautification Day on Tuesday, April 22.
This community-wide event welcomes residents, council members, city staff, and local businesses to gather at the North Bend Train Depot at 10:30 a.m. Mayor Mary Miller will kick things off with an official Earth Day proclamation.
After the proclamation, participants can grab garbage pickup supplies generously provided by the NBDF and team up to clean up throughout the city. Recology will be on hand to help coordinate efforts and talk about waste collection.
The organized cleanup will run until noon, but residents are also encouraged to participate independently at a time that works best for them. Whether it’s your neighborhood, a park, riverbank, or other public space, every bit of effort helps keep North Bend beautiful.

We would like to participate in NB earth day clean up, by picking up trash around Eastbound exit 34, is there a place we can leave the bags for pick up? There’s a lot of trash from the truckers!!!
