Overnight SR 18 Lane Reductions near Tiger Mountain begin at 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 for Emergency Guardrail Repair

People who use the Interstate 90/State Route 18 interchange at night should plan more time for their trips on Saturday, Sept. 30 and Monday, Oct. 3, for various construction activities near Snoqualmie.

Construction crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the eastbound lane near Raging River at milepost 25.8 from 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 to 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1.

Flaggers will alternate traffic through the westbound lane. During the closure, workers will fix a section of the damaged guardrail.

Interstate 90 eastbound off-ramp closure

Don’t forget the eastbound I-90 off-ramp to westbound SR 18 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4. Workers will place concrete barriers to protect work zones while building the new diverging diamond interchange. The ramp was initially scheduled to close Sept. 28, but wet weather postponed the work.

Travelers should follow the signed detour to North Bend/Snoqualmie and take exit 27 to access westbound SR 18 or Snoqualmie Parkway.
