Drivers using westbound Interstate 90 should prepare for lane closures this week.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation return to smooth concrete panels using diamond-tipped grinders.
The two westbound lanes between Highpoint Way and Highlands Boulevard will be closed between 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, and 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, and again between 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, and 6 a.m. Thursday, March 2.
Overnight work will be complete, and all lanes will reopen by 6 a.m.
The work is weather dependent.
