One Idea Can Sprout Many: Be the Change Poster Design Winner named

A few weeks ago we told you about the contest for budding artists sponsored by the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network. Well this week they announced the winner of the Be The Change Poster Design Challenge… Mount Si High School student, Kendall Koval.

A poster committee of Valley teens chose the winning design. One teen stated, “I like how this image suggests that one idea can sprout many.”

Another teen described the design as “light, positive and represented growth.”

Kendall’s design will be used as the promotional poster for the 11th Annual Be The Change event on March 17th for middle school age students in the Valley and beyond.

Congratulations, Kendall, who will also be awarded a $75 prize.

The Snoqualmie Valley Community Network inspires youth in grades 4-12 to be safe, healthy, and successful. Healthy youth and families are the priority for the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network, with youth suicide and substance use prevention two of the organization’s highest priorities.
