Officer Involved Shooting on I-90 Closes Freeway Overnight

According to Sgt. Cody Mann of the Kirkland Police Department, the Independent Force Investigation Team (IFIT), responded to Westbound I-90 near milepost 25 for an officer-involved shooting.

The incident involved two Washington State Troopers and one subject.  

The subject was transported to harbor view medical center with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt.  

I-90 was closed for approximately 7 hours. All traffic was diverted to SR-18.

The incident is still under investigation.
