Starting on April 6, 2024, North Bend will launch its Yard Waste Recycling Program for the year.
Residents and property owners in the area can drop off their yard waste on specific Saturdays from April to October between 8 am and 12 pm at the North Bend Public Works building, 1155 E North Bend Way.
Here’s a list of what you can bring for recycling:
- Grass cuttings
- Leaves
- Weeds
- Small branches and limbs, as long as they’re no thicker than 3 inches and no longer than 3 feet.
However, the program has its limits and cannot take in:
- Big branches
- Sod
- Dirt
- Rocks
- Concrete
- Asphalt
- Large wood pieces like stumps
- Household garbage
- Construction debris
- Animal waste
- Plastic bags
Mark your calendars for these recycling days in 2024:
- April 6 and 20
- May 4 and 18
- June 1 and 15
- July 13
- August 17
- September 14
- October 12
The King County Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant funds the recycling program. Remember, starting April 1, 2024, Recology King County will handle your yard waste as part of its regular trash and recycling collection services if you live or own property within city limits.
