North Bend Wraps Up Yard Waste Recycling Program for 2024 with Final Event on October 12

The City of North Bend will host its final Yard Waste Recycling event of the year on Saturday, October 12, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The recycling program runs from April through October every year and is open to North Bend residents and property owners on select Saturdays. The event is at the North Bend Public Works building, 1155 E North Bend Way.

Accepted yard waste items include:

  • grass clippings
  • leaves
  • weeds
  • branches and limbs up 3 inches in diameter and up to 3 feet long

The program cannot accept:

  • large branches
  • sod
  • dirt
  • rocks
  • concrete
  • asphalt
  • wood, such as stumps
  • trash
  • construction debris
  • manure
  • plastic bags

The King County Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant funds the City’s Yard Waste Recycling Program. Curbside yard waste collection is also included in your Recology King County solid waste and recycling services. Yard Waste Program dates can be found on the City’s Events Calendar.

As the 2024 yard waste recycling season ends, the City of North Bend encourages residents to take full advantage of this last opportunity to dispose of their yard debris properly. With the support of the King County Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant, the program is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and keep North Bend beautiful year-round. Be sure to mark your calendars for next April when the recycling events kick off again.
