North Bend Welcomes Incoming Police Chief with Community Meetups

On Wednesday, March 25, incoming City of North Bend Police Chief Ed Hall invites residents to join him in a community conversation about local public safety and the city’s new police department that will begin serving North Bend on April 1, 2026.

 Please stop by for two opportunities to connect on March 25:  

  • Coffee Talk: Arete Coffee, from 9 to 10 a.m.
  • Last Call with incoming Chief Hall: Blackwater Brewing, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Whether your schedule allows for a morning coffee or an evening brew, community is encouraged to stop by and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Arete Coffee and Blackwater Brewing. Incoming Chief Hall looks forward to getting to know you, while discussing local public safety topics that are important to our community. 

Arete Coffee is located at 112 W 2nd St. Blackwater Brewing is located at 412 Main Avenue S. A Last Call note: Officers will not be consuming alcohol during this event.
