North Bend to Host Storm Debris Collection for City Residents on February 3

Residents of North Bend, mark your calendars for a special debris collection event on Saturday, February 3. From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., the City of North Bend will collect wood debris from recent storms.

Here’s what you need to know:

Accepted Items

  • Branches and limbs up to 3 inches in diameter and 3-4 feet long.

Not Accepted

  • Fallen trees, trunks, stumps, and wood over 3-4 feet long or 3 inches in diameter.
  • Construction debris, garbage, or recyclables.

How to Participate

  • Bring debris to the Public Works Department at 1155 E North Bend Way.
  • Show your ID or utility bill to confirm you live within city limits.
  • Limit one truckload per household. No multiple trips or large vehicles.

Additional Options for Unincorporated King County Residents

  • Republic Service provides yard waste recycling. Visit their website or call (206) 682-9730.
  • The Cedar Falls transfer station also accepts yard waste. Check their FAQ first.

Remember, this event is for storm cleanup within city limits, not for land clearing or commercial use. Thanks to the Public Works crew and Republic Services for organizing this.
