North Bend Sidewalk Project Improves Safety Near Dahlgren Park

[Information provided by the City of North Bend]

Work is in progress along SE North Bend Way, where Fury SiteWorks crews are addressing a sidewalk gap between Dahlgren Family Park and the Snoqualmie Valley Trail crossing.

This project is one of four sidewalk gap removals scheduled for completion this fall. Each one fills in missing pieces or repairs older sections so residents can enjoy safer and more continuous walking routes. When this stretch is finished, it will provide a more accessible connection to the existing sidewalk in that part of town.

Temporary lane closures will occur as crews move through the area. More information about all four of the 2025 sidewalk gap projects can be found in the City of North Bend’s news release.

The city recognizes this work may create short-term inconvenience, but the long-term benefits will improve safety and accessibility for the community.
