Mayor Mary Miller has officially declared September as Senior Center Month in North Bend, highlighting the essential role of the Mt. Si Senior Center in our community.
The center continuously affirms older residents’ dignity, self-worth, and independence by empowering them to make their own decisions while leveraging their wealth of experience, skills, and knowledge. This, in turn, fosters their ongoing contributions to the local community.
Older adults are valued members of our society, contributing their wisdom and experience to benefit people of all ages. Mt. Si Senior Center provides a wide range of services, programs, and activities designed to support and empower seniors, encouraging them to stay engaged in local events and forge meaningful new connections.
Mayor Miller calls on all residents to acknowledge the significant contributions of senior center participants and to recognize the dedicated efforts of staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to enhance the well-being of older adults in North Bend.
