North Bend Farmers Market Kicks off 2014 Season June 12th

The North Bend Farmer’s Market kicks off its 2014 season at 4PM,  Thursday, June 12th, at Si View Community Center, 400 SE Orchard Drive.

Lots of local vendors will be on site selling fresh produce, berries, eggs, meat, honey, flowers, baked goods, pasta, candy, jewelry and handcrafted items for your yard and home.

Community members can enjoy live music each week starting at 6PM during The Si View Metro Parks Summer Concert Series  – and plenty of vendors will be on hand with dinner options including wood-fired pizza, tamales, BBQ and Asian specialties and all-natural hot dogs.

Seattle-based jazz and R&B band, Cherie Blues, is the first featured band of the summer concert series.

Now that Si View Park renovations are complete, the market has modified its footprint and expanded seating areas for picnicking and concert viewing.

There’s also some new vendors joining the mix right out of the gate this year including H & H Creations with French baguettes and jalapeno and cheddar cheese spread; Shen Zen Teas with assorted teas and iced teas; Vin Luminous with 100% soy candles; and All Season Planters with garden decor and hanging baskets.

And more new vendors are on the way for the following weeks of the North Bend Farmers Market 2014 season.  To see a complete list of vendor visit the market’s website at www.siviewpark.org/farmers-market.

So grab your shopping bag, picnic blanket, appetite and desire to support local Snoqualmie Valley farmers and vendors and head to Si View Community Center… right in the shadow of Mt. Si.

Happy Summer Thursdays Snoqualmie Valley!
