Early this morning, just before 5 a.m., King County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a possible suicide in the Lake Alice Road neighborhood of Fall City.
Upon arrival, deputies determined the situation involved multiple fatalities, leading to a homicide investigation. Initial reports suggest this may be a domestic violence incident. Authorities have confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
At least one individual was transported to the hospital, and another is currently cooperating with detectives in the investigation. A neighbor with medical training arrived at the scene before first responders and aided those in need.
The investigation is still in its early stages and involves multiple agencies, including the Washington State Patrol, which is assisting with forensics.
The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the King County Medical Examiner are also involved. Issaquah Police responded to the scene and provided additional support.
School District Offers Support Following the Incident
In response to the tragedy, Snoqualmie Valley School District released a statement acknowledging the impact such events can have on the community.
Superintendent Dan Schlotfeldt reassured families that counselors and support staff would be available throughout the week to help students process the difficult news.
The district emphasized that while the victims were not known to attend its schools, the incident may affect students across the community.
Families are encouraged to contact their school’s counseling office if they have concerns or need further support for their children.
This is an ongoing investigation. More details will be provided as they become available.
