MSHS Football Game vs. Juanita Tonight

Tonight marks the final game of a three game home stand for the Mt. Si Wildcat football team and the beginning of the final stretch of the season.  MSHS faces the Juanita Rebels – who sit one game ahead in league standings.  Mt. Si has a record of 4-2 while Juantia is 5-1.  A victory tonight could heavily influence a playoff berth for the Wildcats.

Last week Mt. Si pounced on Mercer Island 42 – 10.  Many observers, including MSHS coaches, thought it would be a much closer game.  But the Wildcat offense took control and never looked back.  Tonight’s game features Mt. Si’s very productive offense up against a strong Juanita defense – a  defense that has only allowed 72 points all season.  It promises to be a competitive game.

The kids tell me tonight’s game is a “black-out.”  That means the game color of support tonight is black.  Of course, any student painting their face black will be asked to leave the game.

Come cheer on the team as it looks to extend its current winning streak.  The weather is supposed to continue improving into a clear, crisp fall evening… a great football night.  Game time is 7PM. Go Cats!
