Mona Davis Named Snoqualmie’s New Community and Economic Development Director

The Snoqualmie City Council has unanimously approved Mona Davis as the city’s next Community and Economic Development Director. Her appointment will begin on May 1, 2025.

Davis brings more than 25 years of experience in planning and land use, with a background in both public and private sectors across the region. She most recently served as Community Development Director for the City of Black Diamond. A longtime resident of the Snoqualmie Valley, Davis and her husband have lived in the area for over two decades, where they raised their two sons.

“I’m delighted to be working in Snoqualmie as the new Community and Economic Development Director,” said Davis. “I look forward to serving the Mayor, the Council, and engaging with our residents and businesses.”

“Mona is a great fit for our City,” said Mayor Ross. “She brings with her a wealth of professional experience and, as a local resident, she understands the Snoqualmie Valley. We are excited to have her on board.”

Mayor Katherine Ross administered Davis’s oath of office on April 30 during the Snoqualmie Volunteer Appreciation event at the Meadowbrook Farm Interpretive Center.
