After a successful community event last year, the Snoqualmie Mosque is bringing their ‘Meet your Muslim Neighbor’ open house back to the Snoqualmie Valley.
Organizers describe last year’s inaugural event as extremely successful, packing Snoqualmie City Hall with approximately 200 community members wanting to understand more about Islam, ask questions and connect with their Muslim neighbors.
Many attendees requested the Snoqualmie Mosque bring the event back this year, but to a bigger venue. So the 2017 ‘Meet Your Muslim Neighbor’ event will be held at Timber Ridge Elementary, 34412 SE Swenson Drive, on Saturday, January 28th from 10AM – 12PM.
There will be an hour of presentations about the Islamic faith, followed by a question and answer segment. Organizers invite the community to join them on ” a journey celebrating unity and peace” that fosters a strong and healthy society.
