Do you love Halloween? Do you love to scare people? Then Night on a Dark Trail needs you!
Night on a Dark Trail (NOADT) has become a Snoqualmie Valley annual tradition thanks to many dedicated, ‘Halloween enthusiasts.’
This year the outdoor, walkable spooky Halloween trail located on an old abandoned RV campground is back for a 6th year – and running on two weekends: October 14th & 15th and October 20th – 22nd. It happens at the old Leisure Time Campground off Snoqualmie Parkway near I-90 – right across from Snoqualmie Valley Hospital.
The trail brings to life fun and spooky scenes with live performers as groups walk through the forest to find out what might be lurking in the dark.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Night on a Dark Trail doesn’t work without its volunteers, though, and right now they have a casting call out for actors. Auditions happen on August 29th & 30th – by appointment only. If you’re interested head to the NOADT website volunteer page for more info. Then click the email address and request an audition.
Organizers say they have a need for volunteers in non-acting roles, too. So if you’re looking to volunteer, they have something for you.
Some other news from NOADT: They are now a 501c 3 public charity, which allows them to accept donations, gifts, etc., with donations now being tax-deductible for sponsors.
[Be advised: Some NOADT scenes may contain what could be considered scary imagery for very young children and are performed in close proximity. The actors do not touch the audience members. Parent discretion is recommended.]
