Sound of Music at Twin Falls

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the beloved and timeless musical, Twin Falls Middle School presents The Sound of Music, May 14th – May 16th, with shows at 7PM. Tickets are available in the Twin Falls office or at the door for $8 each.

Snoqualmie Ridge Community Garage Sale

Twice a year the large Snoqualmie Ridge Community holds a community-wide garage sale. This first one of 2015 runs Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th, 9AM – 4PM. Participating homes will be marked by red balloons.

This huge garage sale is advertised in multiple Eastside publications and usually draws many deal shoppers to tight neighborhood streets. Be prepared for extra traffic in the area all weekend.

FREE Youth Art Workshops

The Snoqualmie Arts Commission (SAC) is offering two sets of FREE youth workshops on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Participants should be ages 10 – 14 years old.

Kids Improv

  • Instructor: Michael Renney
  • Location: Snoqualmie Valley YMCA multi-purpose room
  • Two workshops: May 16th, 1:30PM – 2:25PM or 2:30PM – 3:30PM
  • Participation maximum is 25.

Creative Poetry

  • Instructor: Anthea Hubanks
  • Location: Snoqualmie Valley YMCA teen center
  • Two workshops: May 16th, 1:30PM – 2:25PM or 2:30PM – 3:30PM
  • Participation maximum is 15.

Jazz at the Club

Join the Mount Si Band Boosters for their 11th annual Jazz at the Club fundraiser Friday, May 15, 2015.  Proceeds raised benefit the Mount Si Band Program, which provides both concert and jazz music education for over 180 students.  

Enjoy a fun evening with performances by the Mount Si Jazz Bands, great food at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge and a special performance by the Harold Mabern Quartet. Mr. Mabern, well known for his hard bop and soul style, has had a rich career playing with jazz greats.

4th Annual ‘Heart of the Valley’ by Mary Miller Photography

Sunday, May 17th at 12PM |  Centennial Fields in Snoqualmie

Come celebrate community, family and life in the Snoqualmie Valley. Help popular North Bend photographer Mary Miller capture the “heart” of the Valley image by joining her and your neighbors as she takes the shot from high above the crowd on a fire truck ladder.

Story Boxx will be playing a live music set at 12PM and Bob and Mike Antone will be playing after the photo shoot. Games, food and a great way to spend an afternoon with family and friends.
