Voting is a week away. I’m honored to have been asked to endorse Councilmember Sarah Perry to retain her seat for District 3 on the King County Council.
Over the past few years, I’ve been blown away by her dedication to our county and the Snoqualmie Valley. She believes in our community and wants to see it thrive. She cares about ALL the residents of her district. Even the people that don’t align with her politically, and I’ve seen that in action many times.
She’s extremely knowledgeable on all things governance. Sarah and her team are kind, caring, empathetic, diligent and extremely professional. She takes the time to listen, deliberate, find a course of action and follow through by the best means necessary. All these attributes I’ve experienced 1st hand.
Over the last year, she’s had over 600 meetings in her district. Many of them in the Snoqualmie Valley. One thing that stands out to me is, I’ve never seen any politician give so much time and energy to making sure our Snoqualmie Valley Non-profits thrive. Our Non-profits, in countless ways, are a lifeblood to our communities and Sarah sees that.
The not-so-distant future will be unprecedented in many ways, and I know wholeheartedly that Sarah is the only candidate who will represent EVERYONE in her district. She’ll do everything in her power to ensure our rights.

I always appreciate hearing from people about their recommendations for candidates to vote for or against, especially when their words include personal connections with the candidates.
