Travelers in the Snoqualmie Valley should plan for delays the week of May 5 due to daytime lane closures in both Fall City and the Duvall area.
In Fall City, single-lane closures will be in place on State Route 202 and Southeast Fish Hatchery Road near Southeast 46th Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9.
Contractor crews for the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will seal and protect the concrete and steel surfaces of two recently completed bridges. These bridges replaced culverts that had previously blocked fish passage along Skunk Creek. Flaggers will alternate two-way traffic through the work zone.
In Duvall, NE Cherry Valley Road between 270th Place SE and 300th Avenue SE will be reduced to a single lane on Monday, May 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews will perform paving work, with flaggers managing alternating traffic.
All vehicles will have access through the work zone, but delays are expected. This work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
