Lane Closures Coming to SR 203 South of Carnation April 14–18 for Bridge Work

State Route 203 will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, April 14, until Friday, April 18, for pedestrian improvements on a new bridge near 324th Way Northeast.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will install a pedestrian railing on the fish-passable bridge built over an unnamed tributary to the Snoqualmie River.

The new SR 203 bridge opened to traffic in January 2025. Construction will continue beneath the bridge and within the streambed this summer to complete the project.
