King County Road Services said it will begin a road resurfacing project in North Bend the week of July 8th, which could cause some traffic delays for those living in the Riverbend and Wilderness Rim areas or those who use the I-90 on/off-ramps at exit 32.
Starting on Monday, July 8th, paving work will take place on 436th Ave SE – south of I-90 and the City of North Bend – near Riverbend.
The work will require a daily lane restriction from 7AM to 5PM between SE 136th Street and SE 151st Street. Spot pavement repairs will also be performed south of SE 151st Street up to Rattlesnake Lake.
Motorists will be directed through the work zone and should expect delays. The work is expected to finish on Friday, July 19th, but the project is highly weather dependent.
According to King County, roads are selected for resurfacing each year based on their condition and on available funding.
