Join the Snoqualmie Firefighting Team as a Volunteer!

Are you ready to make a difference? Volunteer as a Firefighter/EMT in Snoqualmie

The Snoqualmie Fire Department seeks individuals eager to serve their community by volunteering as firefighters and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). This is your chance to step up and make a significant impact in Snoqualmie.

By joining, you’ll embark on an intensive journey of learning and development. You’ll gain expertise in handling fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, and various rescue operations. Plus, you’ll earn your stripes as a volunteer EMT and Firefighter 1, ready to tackle any challenge.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 4! The department will be conducting a series of assessments at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, located at 37600 SE Snoqualmie. These include a physical ability test to determine whether you’re up for the demanding tasks of firefighting, interviews to get to know you better, and a written exam to test your general knowledge.

Interested? Before applying, there are a few things you need to know. You should be at least 21 years old to be eligible. While they prefer that you live within a fifteen-minute drive of Snoqualmie, it’s not a deal-breaker if you don’t.
