Is your Child Ready to Lose the Babysitter? New Home Alone Safety Class Offers Peace of Mind

Have a child who says they’re too old for a babysitter, but you’re still nervous to leave them home alone?

Then Encompass might SAFETY COURSEhave a new class right up your alley.

Encompass is offering a new course for children ages 9 to 13, designed to prepare them for staying home alone. It runs from 10am-1pm, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Encompass Early Learning Center, 1407 Boalch Ave NW, North Bend.

Attendees will learn important skills towards taking that next step in independence while parents will gain some peace of mind.

Topics will include the responsibilities of being alone, first aid and choking safety, online safety, fire safety and information on abuse, addiction, and the importance of “stranger danger.”
