Update December 1, 2021: According to the IFIT-KC team, since the last release, investigators have identified and conducted a productive interview with an eyewitness to the incident.

Since the last release, IFIT-KC reports investigators have concluded a second search for witnesses and video.
Detectives located additional video and are processing it now. They are also attempting to contact a witness who left the scene the night of the shooting.
The IFIT – KC team is in contact with the family of the subject involved in this incident and will be keeping them informed of the progress of the investigation.
This update of information is regarding the November 17, 2021, officer-involved shooting (OIS) at Torguson Park, 750 E North Bend Way, North Bend.
The Snoqualmie/North Bend Police Department was the involved agency.
The Independent Force Investigation Team – King County (IFIT-KC) serves as the independent investigative team for this OIS. IFIT-KC is a multi-agency team made up of investigators from 13 King County Police Departments.
As this incident involved the Snoqualmie/North Bend Police Department, Snoqualmie/North Bend Police Department staff have been excluded from this IFIT-KC investigation.
