Update 530 PM: According to the Washington State Patrol, I-90 Eastbound is now open
At approximately 315 PM, I-90 Eastbound closed due to a 15-car injury collision and blocking vehicles.
The roadway is mostly bare and wet with snow and ice in places, but eastbound traffic is stopped at exit 34 near North Bend.
Traction tires are advised, and oversize vehicles prohibited for westbound travel. It is currently snowing with gusty winds west of the summit.
There is no estimated opening time.
