Test drive the diverging diamond interchange before it’s even built at an open house for the Interstate 90 and State Route 18 improvements and widening project on Wednesday, Nov. 16.
People attending the event at the Snoqualmie Elementary School gym can learn more about project benefits, what to expect during construction, view displays and talk with project managers.
To keep traffic flowing and improve safety for freight and travelers, the Washington State Department of Transportation is building a diverging diamond interchange – the second in the state – and widening SR 18 between the interchange and Deep Creek.

This is a casual open house; people can drop in anytime from 4 to 6 p.m.
WSDOT has contracted with design-builder Aecon on this $188 million project. Work is underway and is scheduled to be completed in early 2025.
