Help Shape the Future of Meadowbrook Farm – Volunteer Opportunities Available

The City of Snoqualmie is looking for one community member to serve as its Volunteer Advisory Member to the Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Association (MFPA). The MFPA is also currently seeking a representative from North Bend.

Are you a North Bend resident who appreciates local open space and historic preservation? If so, please consider applying to serve as North Bend’s citizen representative to the MFPA!

With a mission to steward Meadowbrook Farm Park, the MFPA focuses on educational and interpretive programming that celebrates this unique public space’s rich human and natural history. The board supports preserving the Farm’s wildlife, ecology, agriculture, and cultural heritage. It also creates opportunities for community members to connect through events, volunteer activities, and shared care of the land.

The MFPA is particularly interested in applicants with interests or experience in natural history, education, social media, fundraising, or non-profit planning.

Meetings are held virtually on the second Monday of each month from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., with occasional in-person meetings and optional involvement in events or special projects.
