There was a lot of low-flying helicopter activity reported near exit 31/Bendigo Blvd in North Bend beginning around 5PM today, February 1st.
Local news stations tweeted that a woman was being rescued after falling in the Snoqualmie River and becoming wedged by a log.
According to Katie Larson with the King County Sheriff’s Office, a bystander thought rescue crews were taking too long so he jumped in to assist and also had to be pulled from the frigid water.
Both people were rescued. News stations report a woman in her 30’s was treated for hypothermia.
