Welcome to Juneuary.
We have a not-so-common atmospheric river for this month heading right towards us starting on Sunday. At least it’ll be a warm front and not cold rain.
This system could bring in 3 inches of rain starting on Sunday. This three-day event could bring us more rain on those days than the whole month of June on average.
There is also a Flood Watch posted below the falls starting on Sunday and lasting through Wednesday. Minor flooding is expected.
There is a bright light at the end of this. Starting Thursday and lasting for a few days, our high temperatures could reach the lower 80’s. We just need to get through all the rain that is heading our way.
