Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood; a single donation can help save up to three lives.
On Tuesday, April 8, North Bend residents can make a difference at the Bloodworks Northwest Mobile Blood Drive, which will take place at North Bend City Hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
How to Participate:
Sign up in advance at www.bloodworksNW.org/giveblood and enter sponsor code 444C to schedule an appointment.
Tips for a Successful Donation:
To ensure the best experience, Bloodworks Northwest recommends the following:
- Book an appointment ahead of time
- Bring a photo ID
- Eat a healthy meal or salty snack before donating
- Drink plenty of fluids in advance
- Get a good night’s sleep before your appointment
