GIVE GOOD Nominations Open! Time to Recognize those Inspirational people

Who will walk the red carpet at the 5th annual GIVE GOOD Awards? Probably some familiar names and faces as many local citizens, youth, businesses, and organizations have already been nominated for the 2017 GIVE GOOD Awards of Snoqualmie Valley.

But there’s plenty of time to nominate more inspirational people – and recognize them for their work to better their local community.

Recognizing inspirational people and highlighting the hard work invested into making our community a great place to live – that’s the focus of the annual GIVE GOOD Awards. Foundation President Angela Craig explains, “The GIVE GOOD Awards aim to celebrate the everyday heroes, community volunteers, outstanding citizens, youth, businesses, and organizations.”

The red carpet event  will be held on March 3rd, 2017 at 7PM, along with a 6:30 PM pre-ceremony Art Walk & Music, at Church on the Ridge, 35131 SE Douglas Street in Snoqualmie. There will be local entertainment and an inspirational key-note speaker.

Angela said that “along with recognizing the magnificent moments and achievements of the nominees and awardees, The GIVE GOOD Awards will inspire others to get involved.” She says attendees will be “astounded by the action oriented commitment to the health of our community by our local charities, businesses, school programs, and individuals who vow to GIVE GOOD and LIVE GOOD.”

Nominations are open until December 31, 2016 at midnight in the following 12 categories: Arts, business, courage, environmental, educational excellence, teen spirit, inspirational youth, youth advocate, unsung hero, parent volunteer, youth leadership, and spirit of the valley.
