The 2026 North Bend Yard Waste Recycling program returns this spring, beginning April 18! The annual recycling program is open to North Bend residents and property owners on select Saturdays from April through October, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the North Bend Public Works building, located at 1155 E North Bend Way.
Acceptable yard waste items:
- grass clippings
- leaves
- weeds
- branches and limbs up to 3 inches in diameter and up to 3 feet long
- compostable bags
Items that cannot be accepted: - large branches
- sod or dirt
- rocks, concrete, or asphalt
- wood or stumps
- trash or construction debris
- manure
- plastic bags

- June 20
- July 18
- August 15
- September 12
- October 10
Tips and rules for a successful yard waste drop-off:

- Please enter at 1155 E North Bend Way. Entry will NOT be available through the Cedar Falls Way/City Hall entrance
- One truck load per household, allowed entry once through
The City’s Yard Waste Recycling Program is funded by the King County Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant. Curbside yard waste collection is also included in Recology King County’s solid waste and recycling services.
