Love art, but not sure you have the talent? The Snoqualmie Arts Commission may have the trick to bring out the artist in everyone.
The Snoqualmie Arts Commission is offering one adult and two youth FREE art classes in November. In addition to art instruction, soup and sandwiches will also be provided.
Adult Art Class
On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, from 6PM – 9PM at the American Legion Building, 38625 SE River Street in downtown Snoqualmie, adults can learn about watercolors.
The theme of the Water Color Workshop is 25 Things I Wish I Knew 5 Years Ago. Participants by be 18 year of age and older and the class is limited to 20 people.
Register for the FREE class by emailing Nicole Sanders at nsanders@ci.snoqualmie.wa.us. Art supplies (to bring to class) will be available upon registration. Soup and sandwiches will be served during class courtesy of the Snoqualmie Arts Commission.
Youth Art Class #1
On Saturday, November 15, 2014, from 1PM – 2PM in the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA Teen Center, 38018 SE Ridge Street on Snoqualmie Ridge, kids get their chance learning about watercolors from Sarah Bixler. The theme of the Water Color Workshop is Owl Collage.
Register kids 6 years of age and older in advance by emailing Amy Friedman at amy@smartwithart.net. This youth class is limited to 25 students. Please specify which youth art class you wish to attend. Art supplies and light snacks will be provided.
Youth Art Class #2
Saturday, November 15th, from 2:30PM – 3:30PM in the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA Teen Center, kids can learn about learn about Tempura from Sarah Bixler. The theme of the Tempura Workshop is Lichtenstein Painted Animals
