Snoqualmie and Carnation are preparing to celebrate Independence Day with a packed lineup of family-friendly events, long-running traditions, and community spirit. Residents from across the Snoqualmie Valley—including Fall City, North Bend, and Duvall—are invited to join in the festivities.
Snoqualmie’s Red, White & Boom Returns for Its 9th Year
Red, White & Boom, the City of Snoqualmie’s largest professional fireworks celebration, returns to Snoqualmie Community Park on Thursday, July 4, 2025. The free community event begins at 7 p.m. and includes a 20-minute fireworks show, music, inflatables, 22+ food trucks, local vendors, field games, sidewalk chalk, coloring stations, bubble booths, and photo ops.

Launched in 2017 by Church on the Ridge, the event has grown from 3,500 attendees to an expected crowd of 8,000, filling the upper and lower soccer fields and the YMCA parking lot. Red, White & Boom is produced by Church on the Ridge as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All funds raised go toward the cost of the event, with any surplus funding going to future celebrations. Sponsors include the City of Snoqualmie and other local donors.
Parking is limited, so residents within a mile are encouraged to walk. ADA parking is available at the YMCA lot (35018 SE Ridge St.). Additional parking is available at Cascade View Elementary ($20), Church on the Ridge (free), Sno-King Ice Arena (free), and NWMN/Persona (free).

Kick off your 4th of July festivities with a community parade (more of a “community dress-up walk” vs. a true parade!) that departs from Cascade View Elementary School promptly at 10:30 am. Following the parade is a celebration at Community Park featuring music, food trucks, face painting, glitter tattoos, fun games and community connections.
Carnation Celebrates with Pancakes, Parades, Races, and More
In Carnation, the Fourth of July festivities begin early, marked by several beloved community traditions.
Pancake Breakfast at Tolt UCC
From 8:00 to 10:30 a.m., Tolt Congregational United Church of Christ will host its annual pancake breakfast at the church on Highway 203, across from Carnation Elementary. Outdoor seating and takeaway options will be available. The $10 adult/$5 child breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, pork and plant-based sausages, juice, coffee, and homemade strawberry jam. Proceeds benefit the Tolt Good Neighbor Fund, which has raised nearly $80,000 over 34 years to support neighbors in need.

Run for the Pies and Pints 5K
Also returning is Carnation’s long-standing Fourth of July 5K tradition at Remlinger Farms. The Run for the Pies and Pints begins at 8:30 a.m., with packet pickup opening at 7:00 a.m. The race awards Remlinger pies and $150 cash prizes to the top male and female finishers, as well as top Super Masters (60+). Finishers will receive a commemorative pint glass, good for a post-run beverage at Remlinger Brewery or Big Block Brewing.
Strawberry Shortcake
Families are invited to participate in the Kiddie Parade starting at 11:00 a.m., with the lineup beginning at 10:30 a.m. at East Rutherford and Tolt Avenue. The Grand Parade follows at 11:30 a.m. The Sno-Valley Senior Center will be selling strawberry shortcake from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for $6, with pre-orders available online.

Kiddie Parade Guidelines
Organizers encourage festive attire, decorated strollers or wagons, and safe participation. Participants should bring water and sunscreen, stay alert along the parade route, and follow volunteer instructions. Motorized ride-on cars are allowed for experienced young drivers.

Car Show
Carnation’s Fourth of July Car Show takes place in the Carnation Café parking lot. Early registration is $20, or $25 day-of. Judging is scheduled to conclude by 2:00 p.m.

Remlinger Farms has live music and vendors beginning at 4:00 p.m. Acts include Johnny & the Motovators (4:30–5:30 p.m.), the Fabulous Orchids (6:00–7:30 p.m.), and Austin Jenckes with Cody Beebe & the Crooks (8:00–9:45 p.m.). Fireworks are scheduled for 9:45 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 p.m. to avoid missing the shortened show.
