Fire destroys North Bend home, no injuries reported

Firefighters from North Bend Eastside Fire & Rescue Station 87 responded to a house fire Sunday night, February 18, 2018.

Around 8PM, EF&R reported via social media that an out building fire in the 48300 block of SE 130th had spread to home.

When crews arrived on scene – about a mile east of Mt. Teneriffe Trailhead – the fire was fully involved and the family was out of the home.

Tender trucks – which can hold up to 3,000 gallons of water – were called in to assist with water supply to fight the blaze.

By 9PM firefighters were in mop up stage and putting out hot spots. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

EF&R did not report was may have started the fire.
